Whats in LupaVita

LupaVita™ is a multivitamin with the goal of raising vitamin levels that may be seen as deficient in Lupus patients. Research has debated the strength of the correlations between Lupus disease activity and vitamin levels (Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Magnesium). We always recommend taking a blood test from your doctor to measure you vitamin levels before and after taking LupaVita™. This will give you a better indication of how well your body is absorbing the vitamins. As there are many studies done in regards to the vitamins in LupaVita and their correlation with Lupus, there have been no studies on LupaVita itself. We are looking to hold a professional study and publish our findings in the upcoming future. At LupaVita™ we hope that by raising vitamin levels, you may see less disease activity. It is important to remember that each Lupus case is different, so it is important to bring this to your doctor to make sure LupaVita™ is right for you.

VITAMIN D

It has been studied that higher of Vitamin D are associated with less severe Lupus disease activity. Vitamin D is one of the most common deficiencies seen through Lupus patients. ”Improving vitamin D status among patients with SLE may benefit other common manifestations as well, such as fatigue and cognitive dysfunction.”
